Ecobot launches Early Access Program, available for select environmental consulting companies conducting USACE wetland delineations.

ASHEVILLE, NC (February 12, 2019) --- Ecobot, the developer of transformative environmental data reporting software, launched its new website ecobotapp.com today and announced that it has begun onboarding customers in an invitation-only, time-limited Early Access Program. The company is partnering with Early Access Program participants to shape the future direction and functionality of the Ecobot app.

The pen and paper driven environmental regulatory industry has not changed much since its inception in the 1970s. Ecobot digitizes this industry and provides a swifter way to input USACE (US Army Corps of Engineers) wetland delineation data, provides contextual vegetation and soil data lookups, and automatically generates regulatory reports, all while scientists are in the field. Compared to traditional techniques, the Ecobot solution provides environmental services companies massive time savings---up to 50%---and produces more accurate reporting.

"As a 18-year veteran of the environmental services industry, it's absolutely thrilling to see Ecobot take shape as the first digital solution that truly impacts efficiency of wetland delineations -- both in the field and in the office," says Jeremy Schewe, Cofounder and Chief Scientific Officer of Ecobot. "And as we continue to dialogue with customers, their feedback is confirming that we've built something unlike any other offering available."

Rachele Baker, President and Chief Ecologist with Little River Consultants, provided some early feedback on the success and impact of the Ecobot app, stating: "I really like what you have created. The UI is very well thought out -- predictable and easy to use. And the PDFs look really nice. Clearly this will save a lot of time." Upon seeing a demo of Ecobot, a senior regulatory manager at the US Army Corps of Engineers stated, "Ecobot is light years ahead of anything else out there, from the Corps or anywhere."

"During the diligence and post-investment we spoke with dozens of potential Ecobot customers to make sure the team was building exactly the software they would want to use in the field," said Tim McLoughlin, Partner at Cofounders Capital and Ecobot Board Member. "The key to growing a successful software company is truly understanding the pain points of your customers, and nobody is more in tune with their customer's needs than the Ecobot team. This early-access program will be a great way for customers to give even more specific feedback and shape the product roadmap."

Ecobot benefits the environment and business by removing unnecessary obstacles: better use of dollars and better protection of our natural resources. The Early Access Program is available now for select environmental consulting companies performing regulatory wetland assessments.
